Mr. & Mrs. Mcghee

If the saying that rain on your wedding day is good luck and many blessings, Nic and Kari have themselves a lifetime amount!  Theirs was one of the rainiest days I can remember ever having in Boise.  Though it was pouring out, it dampened neither of their spirits nor excitement for creating and celebrating their union as husband and wife.

Being a natural light photographer, I did my best to embrace the challenge of shooting nearly 100% indoors (no bride wants to be soaked on her wedding day!).  I think the end result really compliments the classic, vintage vibe Nic and Kari worked to create.  They were married in a big beautiful church and held their reception in the Crystal Ballroom at the historic Hoff Building.  The low lighting, crystal chandeliers, red roses, vintage inspired monogram and amazing five piece band and live vocals all pulled together to create an old Hollywood vibe of glamour and class.  It is my hope their photos reflect not only this style but glow with the sunshine they created for themselves on their very "lucky" and blessed day.
